We were supposed to meet the Mendozas at the farmers' market for an early (a very early) dinner, but they were running late. We only had an hour to spend there, before it was time to drive the kids to their respective activities. We tried walking around for a bit, tried to leisurely check out the different produce and food stalls, but we couldn't help but keep looking at the time. Eventually, we had to eat without the Mendozas, and by the time they arrived, we had to leave. I miss being able to just hang out at the farmers market. I miss having dinner at normal hours.
We stayed at Hestia's over the weekend. These places full of "nature" make me uncomfortable because there are always lizards or bugs I have to deal with. But the room, though rustic, was free of such creatures. We had a long, leisurely lunch. Then we had a long, leisurely nap. Then for dinner, we nibbled on leftovers. The next day, we took the scenic drive to UPLB to buy cheese. I'm not religious but I do place a lot of faith on juju. So on the drive to UPLB, by the sacred mountain of Makiling, I gave thanks.
