i love it when all our evening duties (dinner, homework, showers) are done and it's still light out.

it was too hot to walk but debbie and i walked over to a coffee shop anyway because we (i) needed a change of scene.

matthew picked me up for a nice lunch—and so i blocked work from my mind and gave myself over to the enjoyment of it. these things even out, anyway.
